Strange and unusual indeed! This week, The Open Tomb tackles this disturbing 1986 teen violence drama. It stars Crispin Glover, Dennis Hopper, Ione Sky and Theodore Logan. Things get very awkward. In 1985 a film arrived that really changed the minds and hearts of at-risk youths. It was "Tuff Turf", and in it, James Spader and Robert Downy go ahead and show us what's what in the world of spandex gangs and new wavew dance parties. The exciting finale to "Michael Bay March". Eric finishes his sentence by watching all 3 Transformers movies and discussing them with fan favorite Joe Vierra. Our conversation touches on Eric's thoughts about all the Michael Bay movies he's watched during this month, why Transformers were awesome for kids in the 80s, why the movies suck, and much more in this super extra long episode explosion! Enjoy this analytical approach to the popcorn flick. Theme song by The Eric Anderson Express Additional music by Lou Reed and Neil Young. In this episode, we get a 2 and a half hours of Sci-Fi retread boiled down to 19 minutes of laughs. Your host Eric looks into this understated Michael Bay film, if there ever was such a thing. Unfortunately, that's the best thing I can say about it. Clones, Sean Bean, falling helicopters and Podcast Funny. |

In 2002, Michael Bay continued the epic tale of two friends and their issues. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, two of Hollywoods biggest omney makers team back up for another race against drugs. This time Russians and Cubans and X-tacy. Enjoy the ride. Eric barely does. The following will be a humorous review, and the fifth installment of Michael Bay March. Theme song performed by The Eric Anderson Express Addition music by Dr. Dre and No Limit. Like on Facebook, subscribe on iTUNES or just go to http://opentomb.libsyn.com |

ROCK BOTTOM, dear listeners. For this whole month you have been following The Open Tomb down the rabbit hole known as Michael Bay March. It has been hard but at least entertaining. And then an offensive, slight batch of AmeriCANnery gets cranked out. Have fun listening to host Eric's assault on "Pearl Harbor". Michael Bay March continues with more polished hogwash. This is 1998 Super-Mega-Blockbuster Stars Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck and an astroid belt of other decent character actors who all show up and are on screen. An astroid is on a collision course with Earth. A drilling team are the only people who can go in to space to blow it up. You hooked? Neither is Eric, but there is plenty of fodder for a humorous review. Theme song performed by The Eric Anderson Express Additional music by Bathory, The Clash, Aerosmith, Zombi and Busta Ryhmes. Michael Bay March continues with "The Rock" (1996). In this film an ex-Mi6 agent and an FBI lab rat pull a "Die Hard" on a bunch of domestic terrorists. Although Bay set a high water mark with this one, The Open Tomb still rips it to shreds. Enjoy!!! Theme song by The Eric Anderson Express. Additional music by Guilty Simpson, The Bronx, MC5, Lars Frederickson and the Bastards and Skinny Puppy. Follow on Facebook, subscribe on iTUNES or go to http://opentomb.libsyn.com |
